In December 2024, World Forgotten Children Foundation (WFCF) proudly shared the inspiring story of Anchal Chauhan—a young woman who, after a life-changing spinal cord injury at the age of four, rose above adversity to pursue her dreams. From New Delhi to the United Kingdom, Anchal’s journey has been one of perseverance, growth, and triumph. Today, she holds a Master of Science in International Accounting and Finance from Aston University and works with HSBC Bank in Birmingham.
Recently, Anchal shared a heartfelt video message with WFCF, expressing her gratitude and lending her voice to advocate for children with disabilities. In her powerful message, she reminds us that our mission is not about charity—it’s about humanity.
“These children don’t need our sympathy,” Anchal says. “They need someone to believe in them… Because when we give our time, our support, and our voice, we’re giving them more than help. We’re giving them dignity. We’re giving them a future.”
Her words are a poignant call to action: to stand with WFCF in building a world where no child is forgotten. We are honored to share Anchal’s message with our community.

Hello everyone.
My name is Anchal Chauhan, and I am truly honored to share a few words with you today.
First, a heartfelt thank you to the World Forgotten Children Foundation, not just for sharing my journey, but for the wonderful and powerful work they’re doing to support the underprivileged communities and orphaned children with disabilities.
When I was four years old, I had an accident that changed the course of my life and led to my disability.
Growing up, I was lucky to have the support of my family, access to healthcare and education, and a chance to dream. But the reality is not every child gets that chance. There are so many children with disabilities, especially those who are orphaned or living in poverty, who face not just physical challenges, but the heavy burden of facing it all alone.
That’s why the work World Forgotten Children Foundation does is so important.
This isn’t about charity; it’s about humanity.
These children don’t need our sympathy; they need someone to believe in them, to stand by them, and to remind them that “you matter.”
Because when we give our time, our support, and our voice, we’re giving them more than help. We’re giving them dignity. We’re giving them a future.
So please join us. Stand with World Forgotten Children Foundation in their incredible cause, and let’s build a world where no child is forgotten.
